Can anybody advise me on who is working with Nitinol in Europe? I have an upcoming project in this area.

As originally asked by Tim Wagstaff.

Thanks for everyones comments – it is very much appreciated! We have a slight chance of tack on this project – what we now really need is someone who has experience with micro-guidewires, gluing, assembly of guidewires and micro components. Feel free to add further comments, but I will start a new thread to reflect this new emphasis.

Founder and director at Synoste Ltd
Really depends on your application. Our company is working on a product that utilizes the two way shape memory effect. Most of the industry seem to be working with super elastic alloys.

Another vote for admedes. Very impressive technology and capability

Jean Bigoney, RAC, CQE
Regulatory Affairs Specialist.
I have a very good friend who had a company in Germany supplying Nitinol until he retired recently. I believe he sold his company. He is a titanium metallurgist and highly knowledgable and has extensive contacts. If you would like his contact information please get back to me and I will try to put you in touch with each other.

What is the kind of your project.

A little more on this; I’m ideally looking to connect and speak with Medical Device Manufacturing Engineers who are currently working with Nitinol, or similar materials.
