How do you handle local language labeling on a global scale?
2 min reading time

Global medical device and life sciences product labeling is a complex subject and an integral part of the supply chain. The landscape is varied in terms of the systems and processes employed in designing, populating and printing labels (including booklets, inserts and IFUs).

To control labeling on a global scale a number of key functions need to be managed including:
• Complexities around local language labeling
• Managing source data for labels, booklets, inserts and IFUs
• Customizing labels for country-specific requirements

Let’s discuss it live on October 15, 10.00 a.m. New York time. We’ll explore what the industry can do to improve data security, adhere to regulations and mitigate the risks involved in local language labeling and country-specific design.

Marie Suetsugu Sorry, but I'm now more confused...

According to Wikipedia, both the US and the UK will still be operating in Summer Time on 15 Oct.:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time_in_the_United_States; and
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Summer_Time

So, if you mean 10am DST in NY, that would be 3pm BST and 2pm GMT :-S

Marie Suetsugu Good! Thanks. At least it's 11pm rather than midnight here :-P
(I'm still pondering whether to work extra hours at home or to sleep...)

Carly Butler Hi Marie, we are aware that some people may not be able to make the webinar because of the timing (trying to accommodate a global audience is challenging!) or other commitments. However, if you register and then are unable to attend, we will send you the recording shortly afterwards. Thanks,
Carly
