I am looking for class III adult weight scales that can upload their data to an external source, preferably wirelessly but would looked at wired options as well. Any pointers?

A&D Medical produces a bluetooth connected scale Model # UC-321 PBT. I have been testing with that model and have been satisfied with it.

Teddy, I tried looking for one in 2011 without much success. At least as I was told, scales come under Weights & Measures and not the FDA the companies with whom I spoke hadn’t felt the need or market value to the effort. We capture frequent (daily) weight data and manage variances statistically. That is, accuracy variances within units are small and stable, we analyze weight in Kilo’s and display in pounds and thus increasing accuracy. Variances between individual units become statistically insignificant. Still, good luck in your search, I’m interested in your results.

Thank you Thomas. Class III scales is what one of our customer requested. My hands are tied on this one:)

Why is that class 3? it’s nothing more than a scale.
